Outsourced Personnel launched in January 2020 – just before New Zealand, like the rest of the world, entered lockdown. Those uncertain weeks gave us time to reflect, adapt, and refine our focus.

Rather than trying to be “all things to all people,” we chose to specialise in placing skilled office staff – because the best results come from a clear focus.

About Louise Bird, Recruitment Specialist & Founder

I grew up on a farm near Taihape, studied business at Massey University, and built a career across marketing, HR, and events – both in New Zealand and overseas. Along the way, I discovered a passion for connecting people – and recruitment became the perfect fit.

Since 2010, I’ve called Whanganui home. I love this “little city of cool” for its creative energy, vibrant community, black sand beaches, and abundance of good coffee.

Outside of work, you’ll find me reading, biking, hiking up big hills, doing yoga, and chasing adventures with my two amazing daughters, Sophia and Jaime, and our (very) energetic mini-Foxie, Lola. For me, it’s all about balance – people, purpose, and finding joy in the chaos.
